Bring on the germs...boo...

So after the brief glimpse of fall weather, followed by hot and muggy, combined with a little mold in the ceiling and touching all sorts of germ-covered surfaces at Kings Dominion, we have our first official wintery illness. Eric spent a good portion of last night sleeping in an upright position, which smells like an ear infection. Amazingly enough, it was! I'm not a nut (although I am a little tired), but the poor kid was so sick last year and made about a hundred trips to the doctor for a suspected ear infection and it never was. It was always a plain old virus and we had no choice but to just wait it out for like 5 days. After that, an ear infection is a piece of cake!! Antibiotics and he should be back at daycare tomorrow! Woo hoo! (I just poured a Pepsi, the caffeine will kick in soon and I'll stop rambling like a crazy lady). Anyway, it stinks that it's only September and we already have the first ear infection of the season, but it's a heck of a lot better than having to wrestle him with the nebulizer every 4 hours.

Back to the all-day Disney movie marathon (Little Mermaid, currently on the 3rd episode of Little Einsteins) while I deal with the fact that 5 counties in Indiana want to change their time zone. AGAIN.
